MEGAN STITH, CFRE

Chief Institutional Advancement Officer, ECTC, and Executive Director, ECTC Foundation

Megan Stith’s role at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College combines her passions for helping others achieve their fullest potential and creating partnerships that improve communities.

A Kentuckian by choice, educational opportunities brought Stith to the commonwealth in 2007. She has spent her career in nonprofit leadership and is driven to help students overcome barriers to their education. As a doctoral student, she identifies with the challenges ECTC students face as they balance academic, professional, and family commitments.

“Education was always an expectation in my family, but it takes a network of support for students to be successful in college. I’ve been blessed with relationships and resources that allowed me to grow, and I want our students to have the same opportunities no matter where they start in life,” she said.

While she is proud to have helped generous donors change lives through numerous initiatives, those directly impacting students have been the most meaningful to her. Stith cites ECTC’s Student Emergency Fund, growth in scholarships, and Metallica Scholars partnership as some of her proudest accomplishments.

She also invests time in her community through multiple volunteer roles, including as a board member for CASA of the Heartland and United Way of Kentucky. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive and contributing author to two books on women’s leadership.

She is the proud mother of two sons and lives on her husband’s third-generation family farm in Meade
County.
